  1. my best memory ever is our first Christmas as a blended family and my son who is also born on Christmas was of that age where they are just so excited. so my husband and I pretended to be asleep and our room was downstairs so when he cam down and that look on his face was just amazing. to this day wish I had a camera

  2. My favorite memory, each year my mom gives someone coal for something they did throughout the year (things like not visiting often enough, I got it for getting another dog – she said no one need three, things like that.) We all wait to see who will get the coal and why and we comment each year about why they deserved the coal.

  3. My toddlers singing “We wish you a Merry Christmas” to my mom on the phone. They are now teens and Mom passed away that year on New Years Eve. It was a joyous call and the last time that I spoke to my mom. *smiles*

I ‘liked’! Did you smile!? lol

I stalk on FB, twitter (@watijo3) and follow via email

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

  4. My fondest memory of Christmas was when my Dad and Mom were both still alive. I have 5 siblings. Our tree was white and very beautifully decorated. It had to have been in the 70’s. I got my first floored Tv.

  5. Easy, my favorite Christmas was at age 12 when my mom (who divorced my dad when I was 5 and left him to raise me and my 2 siblings) picked me up and for the first time took me to her house where I met my three younger siblings for the first time. It was raining, and her house was so warm, and the Christmas tree so pretty and the smell of fresh baked cookies was still in the air. Oh yeah, I loved that day 🙂

  6. my favorite memory is when I was very (5) and my older brother (6) talked my baby(1 1/2) into honking the horn on his red baby car to wake up my parents. After doing a little convincing he started and wouldn’t stop. Dad was so mad he made us go back to bed. 30 minutes later he got us up again. You see it was still dark and only 3am. Us being so young and know digital clocks have been made yet, we did not know how to tell time. Dad thought about that and I’m sure mom helped it was a magical Christmas. Happy Holidays to all!

  7. One of my favorite memories is having to go to bed early because Santa is coming and not understanding how he was going to get in because we didn’t have a chimney. What makes it so special? It’s a fond memory of my mother (she passed away several years ago). Holidays are still hard but I have lots of family around to help me get through it.

    Happy Holidays!

  8. My favorite memory is when my Dad was able to decorate the house inside and outside with lights on the trees, so many other decorations handmade and bought; we all love Christmas but he makes it extra special.

  9. My fondest holiday memory is spending it at my grandma’s she lived several states away and this was the only time we spent christmas with her:)
    Happy Holidays!

  11. One of my favorite memories was going to my grandparents every Christmas Eve and having dinner and then hot cocoa. We would then talk about Santa and have dessert.

  12. 1.The first one that came to mind was when we were kids and my dad bought my little cousin (male) a pink dress as a gag gift. Somehow my aunt and I talked him into putting it on while we were both standing there holding cameras. To this day I still have the pictures lol

My fondest holiday memory is when my nephew was young. Seeing Christmas through a child’s eyes is awesome!

  14. One of my favorite Christmas memories is the year Santa brought my brother a new pony. We had an old pony who died a few weeks before Christmas and my brother was very unhappy. He asked for a train set for Christmas but when we got to the living room there was a note from Santa that said he would get the train set later but there was something he needed more. We all went running out on the porch barefooted in the freezing cold to look in the backyard like the note said and found a pony standing out there. We were all so excited! Thanks for the giveaway!

  15. Well I’m a little disappointed because I live in Canada . But why make it USA only when the grand prize is International? At least I hope it is . There are a lot of participants to comment on. Anyway my fondest holiday memory? And what makes it so special? One year I made my holy communion at Christmas time and I stopped believing in Santa Claus but my dad used to sneak out of mass and put the presents under the tree for us so they’d be there when we got home. He made it real special for us. The magic of christmas was alive at our house to say the least 🙂

  16. 3 years ago I was very sick and I ask my husband If I could get a puppy and he no .. But then he turn around on Christmas morning there was my puppy

  17. Happy Happy Holidays! Thanks for the great giveaway!
My fav thing about the holidays are the awesome sparkly lights! We drive around on Christmas Eve and see them all while singing along with carols on the radio! That is my favorite memory from growing up too, it is a great tradition my grandfather started.

  19. My fave memory was when I returned home from the hospital after becoming a quadriplegic. One neighbor dressed as Santa while another jumped around the bushes outside the window with a red flashlight so I’d see a shiny red nose and think it was Rudolph. 27. Last year is actually one of my favorite Christmas memories. It was the first Christmas that my boyfriend and I really made and effort to combined our mutual families and celebrated Christmas all together. The kids were sooo cute Christmas morning. Even the older ones. I had put fake mustaches in each of their stockings and they all ran around with them on all day!

  29. The fondest memory for me would be Christmas 2004. It was the last one before my mom passed the following year. She had not cooked in years, but that year she got in the kitchen and cooked up a storm. I think back on that time with her often and smile :).

  31. I was about 8 and my sister was 5. We had talked our grandparents into letting us sleep Christmas Eve outside in their RV. We were busy chatting and giggling when we heard sleigh bells outside. Needless to say, living in Florida with no snow, that they MUST belong to Santa’s reindeer. We both immediately pretended to be asleep. It was a completely magical Christmas.

Merry Christmas and thanks for the blog stop.

  32. I have to say the best memory i have is when my dad came to visit when we lived in italy… he lived in germany… We went sledding in the alps and i still remember crying when he had to go and watching him drive away… I know it sounds like a sad memory but in realitiy it was the frist time i had seen my real dad in about 3 years do to deployments and him living overseas when we lived in the states. I am truely blessed that i have to men i call dad (real and step) and they are great men who get along so that us kids never felt out of place.

  33. Hello, I did all 4.
My favorite memory is my first Christmas at grannie and pop’s after my da married my mum. Their house had a fireplace and there were stockings and a beautiful tree all decorated. There were tons of presents under the tree, and there were bowls of Christmas candies, the ribbon kind, my favorite. Grannie let me help her cook, it was so cool getting a new family.

  34. I remember going to my cousin’s house for Christmas Eve after church. They were all older than me so it felt important. They had a nice home on the lake with a big fireplace. Becky played the piano and we sang carols. They had all kinds of food. And we all got at least one gift. We didn’t go home until at least midnight. It was always fun.

  35. I loved playing barbies when I was younger and my parents gave me the whole set of Barbie and the Rockers. That is my favorite Christmas.

  36. The like button won’t work for me. But I follow by email, follow on twitter (smurfette_v) and like on FB. Sheri Vidal. My favorite memory is every Christmas Eve at my grandmothers. 🙂

  37. One of my favorite memories is going to my memas and aunts for christmas eve. We ate a big dinner, made homemade sugar cookies, opened presents, talked about family stories (the first started us laughing and by the end, we were rolling on the floor). This memory is so special because we dont do it anymore. My family got into a huge fight and we havent celebrated like this in years. What i loved about it most, we were all so close. Now, its all a distant memory. Great hop & awesome giveaway! Thank you!! Happy holidays to you all! Best wishes and many blessings!

  38. My favorite holiday memory is getting what turned out to be my favorite stuffed toy, EVER, when I was six — a brown and black Pound Puppy. What was so special about it was my grandfather helping me name him 🙂

  39. My favorite memory is when I was little and my mom took my sister and I to get our first real tree and she was more excited about it than we were lol It was hilarious watching her run around to find the perfect tree. She was like a kid in a toy store 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway!

  41. One of my best memories was when my niece and nephew were 3 and 5 and they spent the holiday with us. Its just because they were REALLY aware of Christmas, presents, and Santa. I loved that I could really have fun with them with it and their excitement about it. We sometimes lose that when we get older. Kids always make Christmas so much better.
