SHAKEN (Book 1)

There’s something to be said for lust at first sight.

shakenRedd wasn’t looking for Mr. Right but Mr. Right now. But the moment Nikko walked into her bar she felt that first rush of need. She wasn’t shy about getting what she wanted even if only for one night, which was all her chaotic lifestyle would allow. Besides, not many men wanted to date a woman who worked in a strip club, even if she were the bartender. It tended to make them sneer. She didn’t know which was worse. When they found out she was part owner or when they found out she was a law student. That intimidated the hell out of some. She didn’t really give a damn.

Nikko wasn’t looking for anyone. His life was full as the senior associate at a law firm and he just found out he was being considered for partnership. His life was about to become even busier. Then something happened that left him shaken. What should have been one night of uninhibited pleasure became a weekend, then it became more. How the hell did that happen? And did he want it to stop?

Shaken is also book 1.5 in The Young Guns Series.

STIRRED (Book 2)

Who is that masked man?

stirredDuring the day Harper Reynolds might have been a law school student, but at night he was a male stripper. At the very exclusive members only Club Prestige. To protect his identity he wore a mask. But one day someone saw through his facade and suddenly the future he’d planned was threatened.

Nadya Johnson thought she’d always be a marine, at least for the next eight years. But a bullet took it all away from her. Including the man she’d been writing to for years. Someone she’d never met—but she wanted to see him just once. Even if he didn’t know who she was; and she didn’t dare tell him her real name. All she wanted was one night.

FROZEN (Book 3)

A perfect moment can change it all.

frozenLani

Ever have that one perfect moment in time, when you know exactly what you’re supposed to do, who you’re supposed to be in life? Well, that had been me, and it certainly had lasted for more than a moment. I’d decided to pledge myself to God and help others in his name. Selfless, that was me and I was weeks away from taking my final vows. Then something happened, I met someone and suddenly I questioned everything.

Rom

I’ve always lived my life on my terms. Granted, I never thought I’d grow up to be a male stripper. But what the hell, I made good money and now, I had a shot at something more. And the women. Yeah, I loved women but they came and went. I preferred it that way. Didn’t matter which of us left first, as long as one of us did. I didn’t do attachments. Then something happened. I’m no saint, but I saved someone and wanted an attachment. Only to find out I could never have her.

Chapter 1 Excerpt

“Thank you again for coming, Lani,” Corrine said, giving me a quick hug.

“Yes,” Lara added, kissing my cheek. “Thank you. Love you. Feel better.” She squeezed my arm.

“I will. Love you too.”

“Want me to help you get a cab?” Lara asked

“No, I’ll just call one.”

“Okay. Text me once you get home,” Lara said.

I rolled my eyes. “Sure, sure.” It’s not like I lived alone. I hadn’t moved out of our parent’s house yet. I wouldn’t until I took my novitiate vows in a month, but I worked everyday and went to church every other day. Only returning to our parent’s house in time for dinner and to sleep.

I made my way to the elevator while my sister and her companions went in the other direction to one of the rooms for the strip show. Part of me was a little curious and wanted to see one, but the other more practical part of me knew I shouldn’t. Having a drink in a bar was one thing, watching the strip show, well something else entirely. Besides, the world seemed a little tilted. I stepped onto the elevator and leaned against the side to right myself. I’d just pressed the button for the first floor when someone stepped on. My head ached so much I couldn’t even glance up to see who I shared the ride with. I stared at the floor and could see the dark shoes and pants legs, the size hinted at a man.

The door closed, the elevator dropped and my body swayed but I didn’t fall.

The man who now stood behind me said, “Whoa!” He held onto my waist as though to steady me.

“Tha—thank—y…” Something was wrong with my voice. My words didn’t come out right. How much did I have to drink? The elevator door opened and I took a step forward to get out when the entire floor spun up to meet my face, but strong hands held onto me.

“I got ya.”

“Everything okay?”

A male’s voice asked, one I didn’t recognize.

“Yeah, she’s fine. Just a little too much to drink.”

I didn’t recognize the one who answered either. “Na…” I wanted to protest, but the arms holding me up were the only reason I could walk forward. I leaned against his strength, depending on it.

I felt myself being placed in the back of a car. The scent of smoke and stale air made me want to puke. “Cab,” I muttered.

“Yeah, cab.”

Hands reached across my lap to snap my seatbelt, pausing to stroke my breasts. Wrong this was all wrong. “Nooooooo!” I cried out.

christmasdelights333x500“Believe it or not, I used to love Christmas. It was my favorite holiday.” Tranell paused to find the right words. “It kinda lost its zing in my life, ya know. I mean, as far as family goes and exchanging gifts, yeah, that’s great stuff, but without a lover to share it with, it just becomes another day.”

“Another day?” Squeezing her hand, Stephan caressed her inner forearm with his fingertips. “You look detached, not in tune with life and what it offers. When I came in and notice you, I watch you for long time.” He fiddled with the platinum ring on her forefinger. “Everyone around you smile, laugh…feel love and joy…except you.”

“Ha. You think this is bad? You should see me on Valentine’s Day.”

She tried to make light of the situation but failed miserably. The discomforting sting of his earlier observation took the wind right out of her sails. Was her demeanor that bad or her mental grief that obvious?

“Not like I wanna feel this way.”

“I want to ask you…what makes Tranell happy?”

“Puppies, rainbows, unicorns, the smell of roses…” she answered, finding his question endearing. “And, sitting here talking to you.”

His cheeks flushed, and his smile widened. “Merci, I hope to make you happier. Life too short to live in shadow of sadness. Someone so lovely…you shouldn’t be alone. This be our night. It be very special. I make sure of it.”

Our night?” Giving him an impish glint, she snickered. “You are super charming but presumptuous as well. I never said I was going to spend the night with you.”

Oui, you did, just not with your mouth.”

Stephan picked up his glass of wine, turned it up to his lips, and consumed it like he was chugging a beer. He released her hand and repositioned himself in the seat next to her. He then bent down, reached one arm across her lap, and took hold of the seat. The legs of the chair grunted over the wood flooring as he dragged her closer to him.

She latched onto the edge of the table. “What are you doing?”

“What it look like I’m doing?” Once he had eliminated all the space between them, his heated palm rested on the knee of her crossed leg, and his lips brushed over the shell of her ear. “I want to make you smile, Tranell.”

Her pulse quickened, the muscles in her thighs tightened, and her eyes briefly fluttered shut. “Damn boy, you are too bold for your own good.” A little voice in her head was telling her to pump the brakes and move away, but her body wouldn’t budge. “So I guess we’re past flirting, huh?”

“Come home with me,” he whispered.

Hesitantly, she turned to look into those hypnotizing eyes. “You expect me to believe you don’t have a woman at home waiting for you on Christmas Eve?”

Oui.”

“Uh-huh, I don’t believe you.”

“I prove to you by taking you home. Please drink your wine.”

Determined to play hard to get, she clucked her tongue and cocked her head. “Why? So you can get me drunk and my decision making skills go out the window?”

“No.” He tapped the stem of the glass with his nail, smiling devilishly. “Drink to relax, so I can make you my lover.”

Scattered Flames ~ The Dragon Queen Series

Sacrifice

Lost in a sea of pleasure, Imrie cried out, never wanting the sensation to end. Whatever he desires of me, I will do it. She turned her head, allowing him to drink freely.

Ukemi appeared in the doorway.

Imrie went rigid.

Thankfully, the vision and blood lust had Lord Lucius distracted, or for lack of a better word, occupied. Had he seen Ukemi, he would’ve reacted.

“Ukemi, you shouldn’t be here! If he sees you…”

With her sweet face bunched in disappointment, she shook her head. “You’re no better than your husband. You sold your soul and body to the devil just to trap the dragon queen, and now he owns you.”

“No my dear girl, I sold my soul and body to the devil so you wouldn’t have to. Now please, return to your quarters before he senses you.”

Scorpion Tail Excerpt

Smoke and Strawberries

“What do you have over these cops? Have you given favors to them all? Even the chief? Is that why you carry on like you own the place?”

MonaLisa swirled around and cocked her head to the side. “Hold up. Did you just call me a whore?”

Toshiro shrugged. “If the shoe fits…”

The smile she offered was full of malice. “Ooo, what a trashy prince you are. You’re just begging for my attention, aren’t you? Well you got it. Consider yourself on my radar.”

On her radar? Is that a threat? In a flash, he was in her face. With his hand braced against the wall behind her and the other wrapped around her arm, he pinned her to the building. Despite the position he had her in, she continued to puff away on her cancer stick, which in turn, infuriated him further.

Toshiro snatched the cigarette from between her lips, threw it on the ground and stomped on it. Noses inches apart, he breathed in her aroma. She smelled of smoke and strawberries. The combination disturbed him, more so because it also aroused him. She confused his senses, made him feel things he wasn’t quite sure of. This close, he could see the specks of gold lining her chocolate brown irises. They shimmered like stars. Aside from her face, it was one of the prettiest things he’d ever seen.

What are you doing, Toshiro?

He swallowed the lump easing up his throat. “After I catch my perp, I’m going to make it my business to bring you and your band of thugs down.”

“Is that right?” Her eyelids fluttered, her breathing wavered. “A’ight then.” She flicked her tongue out and swept it over his lips. “Game on, Mah-soo-dah.”

He scrambled back, nearly falling over the hood of a police cruiser. A heatwave rushed over him and settled in his groin. Wiping at his mouth with the back of his hand, he glared at her. His lips quivered, his cock throbbed.

She released a deep, sultry laugh. “Ohh, you’re just too easy. Gotta toughen up if you’re gonna pick fights with me. Catch ya’ later.” Her swaying rear end taunted him as she headed for the shiny royal blue and white antique vehicle.

If he wasn’t mistaken, it was a Plymouth Fury. Couldn’t give her credit for lady-like behavior, but at least she had good taste in cars.

She spun around on a playful twirl and dared to light another cigarette. “Just remember, Inspector Mah-soo-dah…” She took a draw from the end and winked at him. “When you bust, I’ll bust harder.”

His chest drew so tight he could hardly breathe. What was pure rage manifested into something explosive, something he couldn’t control. “That is it!” As his feet carried him forward, his mind went blank.

ROCK MY WORLD ANTHOLOGY

Prison Guard’s Son ~ LaVerne Thompson writing as Ursula Sinclair

“I can only be who I am.”

RockMyWorld3D

Pike

I never knew my mother. I tell people she died shortly after I was born, that stops any more questions. So I don’t have to say she was a convicted felon who died while in prison. Nor do I have to talk about the fact that my father was one of her guards. He raised me as best he could. The one thing I never had or wanted was a family, he was family enough. The only other thing I ever needed was my music. I never pretended to be anything other than what I am, but then she entered my life and my music suffered. I needed to be someone else, anyone else or I could never have her. She could never know the truth about me or I wouldn’t be there to save her.

Eryn

I never knew my father. Growing up in a large extended family, I was never alone. I just grew up without a father. He died before I was born and while I always had adult male relatives to help guide me, I still missed him. He never even knew of my existence, but I felt his presence everyday of my life. His legacy helped shape me. Then I heard this voice one day, singing with such a soul deep loneliness. I had to respond. But when I did, he turned my world upside down. Then I found out the truth. Prison_banner2

Prison Guard’s Son Except

PrisonGuardsSon-FJM_Low_Res_500x750It was true. I keep my business separate from my personal, because I never allow any woman I ever sleep with to get personal. Other than the physical. That only last one night. I want no expectations and let any woman I sleep with know that from the first.

If they couldn’t deal then it didn’t happen. And yeah, so what if I’ve slept with most any woman that attracts me and some that I’ve worked with in the past? It was never more than once. I always tell them, if they can’t handle it let me know up front and it won’t happen. Only once did I ever have to replace my publicist because she didn’t believe my one night rule. Then again, it was not even for one night. I never spent the night with a woman. Ever. I preferred waking up alone.

Women got ideas when they fall asleep with you wrapped around them, or they you. So no…not going there. Not giving them that impression at all. Still, I instinctively knew, Eryn would take some work. Yet, in the end, I would get what I want. I always did. And from the moment she stared at me…I wanted her.

Happy Release Day; CRIMSON MEMORIES #99Cents #Steampunk #ASMSG #Erotica

Today is release day for my first steampunk fairytale, CRIMSON MEMORIES! Yey!

To celebrate, here’s a steamy excerpt for your reading pleasure.

Enjoy!

CrimsonMemories_ebook_Final“Wait, Petra! Don’t go!” I dashed through the gathering of tall evergreens, slapping branches out of my way.

Her mass of wild hair swayed from left to right as she raced through the forest. She ran fast, so fast it was difficult to catch up. Soon, I lost the visual of her. She had disappeared.

“Petra!” I continued to move forward, hoping and praying she would come back to me. “Petra!”

“Yes, Argon?” purred a woman’s voice from the shadows.

I stumbled to a halt and glanced around my foreign surroundings.

She sauntered from behind a large oak, no longer a young lass, but a striking woman with bodacious curves that could shake the world. An impish smile curved her plush lips. Everything about her appearance was hypnotizing.

I couldn’t look away, even if I wanted to.

She was stunningly beautiful. Her slightly flattened nose, high cheekbones, and kissable lips were works of art. And her body… She swayed when she walked. Voluptuous breasts protruded from her chest in glorious splendor. Haloed at the tips were perfectly round areolas and hardened nipples. The chain she’d worn as a girl still resided around her waist, sparkling like diamonds against her swarthy skin and clinging lovingly to her wide hips. A triangular patch of dark curly hair covered her mons. She approached me with the lethal grace of a predator.

Panting helplessly, I reached out for her.

She skipped backwards and began to circle me, sashaying on her toes. She moved so fluidly, I thought she would twirl into a ballet at any moment. “Are you hunting me, Argon Quinn?” Her voice was a breath of silk, brushing over me like a soothing wind.

“I am,” I admitted with no shame. “You captivate me.” Like her, I had changed. My timbre had deepened greatly, my body had stretched. I was now a man, suffering the primal longing for the elusive siren before me. “Are you going to continue to make me chase you?”

“I think I will.” She ended her roundabout, tilted her head playfully, and then darted behind another tree.

Husky laughter shook my chest as I went in pursuit. “Such a teasing temptress.” I rounded the evergreen, and she wasn’t there.

She appeared from behind the adjacent tree. “You like to be teased and I like it when you chase me. It makes me feel wanted.”

I dared a few steps forward. “And want you, I do. Would you like to know what I plan to do once I get my hands on you?”

The question sent a visual shudder down her form. Her lips parted, eyes widened.

Taking one lengthy step, I lunged for her.

Determined to keep the space between us, she leapt backwards. “I would encourage you to enlighten me, but I’d rather you save it.” Leaving her girlish laughter echoing across the forest, she vanished behind another tree, only to reappear behind me. “You can surprise me…” Her breathy whisper feathered the shell of my ear. “That is, if you have the will to catch me.”

Masked Desires, Now Available on #Smashwords #EroticRomance #Interracial #ASMSG

Daniel Lerue

When Abigail Clark agrees to join her best friend on a getaway to New Orleans, she has no idea what’s in store for her. After her friend coaxes her into attending a Masquerade Ball, Abigail finds herself stuck in an awkward situation. However, she is delightfully caught off guard when Daniel Lérue, a gorgeous younger man shows interest in her.

He offers her a night filled with unforgettable passion. With that, he awakens a sexual appetite that has been dormant for quite some time.

Will she shy away from her body’s masked desires or surrender to the call of untamed lust?

MaskedDesires_ebook_Final2

Three men were huddled over a table in the far corner of the bar area, where they conversed, laughed and enjoyed their drinks. Like they’d just stepped off the stage of a Shakespearian play, they sported costumes that were stylishly dated for a Masquerade ball, capes and all. Neither one of them appeared to be in our age bracket. In fact, they looked like cougar bait. That made me feel old.

The one Allison had her eyes on, a smooth cocoa brother with a wavy fade, snapped his attention our way. The two men at his sides―one looked Latin and the other white―followed suit.

Uh-oh. I fidgeted uncomfortably under their steady gazes. Allison, on the other hand, flashed a megawatt smile, assumed a provocative stance and stuck her voluptuous chest out for their scrutiny.

“Looks like they’re going to a Masquerade too.” The words slid off Allison’s tongue like she’d just tasted something scrumptious. “One of every flavor. A yummy man swirl.”

Oh goodness, trouble!

Mischief played in Allison’s steely blue eyes. No doubt about it, I was about to be yanked into an awkward, uncomfortable situation. I started getting the jitters. The pounding beneath my chest grew faster at the sparkle in Allison’s leer and the developing interest from the beautiful young men across the way.

Desperate to get out of the building before Allison made her move, I inched closer to the exit. “Let’s go ahead and get our cab, Ally. Running late, remember?”

Her white gloved hand caught me by the wrist. “Trying to run off on me, honey.”

“I’m trying to go hail a cab. You cussed me out for making us late and now you wanna set us back further?”

“They are worth the set back.” Her eyes glued on the handsome gents, she murmured, “Besides, the party doesn’t jump off until we arrive anyway.”

“No girl, I see what you’re ‘bout to do, and I’m not comfortable with it.” I tried to sound stern and serious, but the alcohol sailing through my system made my voice waver and slur. Dang, I’m a lightweight.

“Uh-huh, right, let’s go see if they’re going to the same ball.”

“Please don’t do this,” I begged as I was pulled across the cream tiles to the bar area. “Allison, don’t…”

The closer we got to the threesome, the hotter they became. By the time we stepped onto the carpeted area, I wasn’t resisting anymore. What’s the use anyway? Allison was going to drag me into the mix one way or another. MaskedDesires_fbcover2
